Transport infrastructures development needs $127b by 2026

TEHRAN- According to the Ministry of Transportation and Urban Development, developing transportation infrastructures in Iran requires 4.75 quadrillion rials (about $127 billion) investment by  the end of the country’s outlook plan for the calendar year of 1404 (March 20, 2026), IRNA reported on Tuesday.

Some 380 trillion rials (about $10.16 billion) have been expended for development of transportation infrastructures during the past three years, which is higher than the fund allocated to the Ministry of Transportation for such development and it indicates the big steps taken by the ministry in this due.
